About Phi Sigma Pi
PHI SIGMA PI accepts everyone with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. We are proud of the symbol of our Fraternity which is the tripod consisting of Leadership, Scholarship and Fellowship. Phi Sigma Pi was founded on February 14, 1916 at Central Missouri State by E.L. Hendricks, C.A. Phillips, and C.H. McClure. The Fraternity became national in 1922, became an honor fraternity in 1966, and became co-ed in 1977. As of March 2008, there are 103 active Collegiate Chapters in existence.
Theta Chapter
Theta Chapter was founded on April 25, 1930 by several Brothers of Eta Chapter. Theta Chapter holds the distinction as the first fraternal organization in Mansfield University. There are three structures in Mansfield University named after Brothers in Theta Chapter. They are Straughn Hall, Belknap Hall, and Spaulding Field. Theta Chapter also is the current longest-standing active chapter.
